So, I sent a email to my contact in china last week to order some GT3C's, and they haven't gotten back to me for payment. So I just ordered a handful from another company. They say 15-20 days before I'll get them.

The 3 ch rx that came with it will work . But if you want the 6 or 8 channels you have to get the new rx. Besides for about $20 you can buy and ship a 6 ch rx. You will NEVER find a spektrum or futaba for that price!

Technically you don't need more than the 3 ch rx if you ONLY want 4WS. But you are going to want to add lights, a winch, etc.

For right now I'm just looking to have the 4ws work, but can you give me a link so I can buy the receiver you were talking about so I'll have it for future use?

Got ahold of my og contact

Looks like sometime in the next couple of weeks I'll have

x14 Silver GT3C's
x10 Grey GT3C's

Eventually I plan on stocking all 4 colors (Silver, Grey, Green, and Orange).

Here's some pics I found on the web

Grey

Silver

Something funky is up with the ST site. I'm trying to download the ST Visual Develop software http://www.st.com/internet/com/SOFTW.../sttoolset.zip and get a 404 error. Looking through their site and going to the software catalog page this also loads an empty frame. I'd really like to get this GT3B hacked for a friend but I need to set my environment back up first.

Does someone have another link that works?

Edit: They don't seem to be on the programmer either when mounted as remote storage.......

I host all that on my website.

You can find the links in this document

After you hack you will have to re bind. Takes couple seconds to do.

How does this radio compare speed wise to a Futaba. Could I use it in a onroad car.

Austin has the speed specs. I ran on my vta and had zero issues. Now if you are on a pro circuit on 1/10 touring mod you may notice difference....... Whenever swapping systems with those cars its always getting used to differences in delay time vs servo speed etc.
