Bump for a fantastic vendor, excellent support and a great product. I have two of the fully modded GT3B's and love them! I was very skeptical about using a modified but over all cheap transmitter. I thought it was a huge step down from my Spektrum. I was wrong.

The GT3B has done everything I have needed it to do, and Austin's support has been top notch. I have over ten receivers now for the two transmitters. The receivers are priced so ridiculously low, it's easy to have multiples. I also was able to fit a Sky Lipo, 40C, 1600mah 2S lipo in the battery box to power the transmitter. Super light weight and it runs for days!

Thank you Austin for making this great product.

I am super stoked to order one, should be doing so within a week or two if things work out like they should. Hopefully it can get to me in time for my comp so I can get dig setup, but we'll see when I actually am able to order it!

Glad you like them

Better than using a 3r and wantamix?

Hello guys,

And thank you Losikid, I received my TX today so super fast shipping.
I looked on the web and here but no answer....I m sure answer is here but cannot find it because 1200 posts....
My config:
Combo Castle creation mamba max pro and 2400 kv motor.
Lipo 3 cells
Servo Savox.
TX flysky GT3 B and RX 6 channels.

To bind:
Bind plug in channel BAT
ESC channel 1.
TX off
Turn ESC on and red light on RX and bips
Red light s blinking in RX
Push bind button on TX off and turn it on.
Solid red light
Turn off ESC
Remove binding plug
Turn TX off.

Two different things happen:

I plug ESC into channel 2 and servo into channel 1.
Turn TX on
Turn ESC on and red light blink one time and that s it....nothing works.

I rebind and sometimes everything works but not good.
Steering servo works but not properly, a lot of interferences , it turns but not directly, left right left and finish to reach the position I want.
There is some interferences on the motor when I do steering, no throttle but when I steer, motor turn a little bit and stop.....

I m pretty sure I do something wrong or there is a setup wrong. For info I tried on two different model on the TX and they have stock seting...

Help my guys and sorry to ask like all newbies the exact same question....

It s ok now, Everything s working good except one thing, when I steer quickly after aroind ten times, my motor turn one time( 1/4 turn) and stop. Is it a setup on the TX or on my ESC.

there shouldn't be any interaction between steering and throttle. did you try a new rx?

I love this radio!! My only complaint is the backlight.... Not Losikids fault though! My hack is working great, I ditched a DX3S for this setup and love it! My only question is, with all of the firmware flashing and programming, wouldn't there be a way to change the backlight settings on the radio? I think this is definitely something a lot of people would probably be very interested in.

I understand that. But they are able to change all of this stuff in the firmware, why not change the firmware to allow for a longer backlight setting? I would imagine that it is set in the firmware of the radio....

What was the issue?

I'm guessing the RX ground or an external BEC?

so you want the backlight to stay on longer? to do that hold the enter button and scroll to L i believe and it will have a # with s after for the number of seconds its on, and turn it up

Awesome!!! Thanks benoj! I have left my radio on, twice now, while working on my truck and then walking away. I've gone through 16 AA batts so far... I really need to do the voltage reg mod and get a lipo in there.

no problem. im just using rechargeable AA's in mine since the gt3b came out, i believe there is an inactivity alarm that will go off if you leave the radio on with no use after a set time if you again go hold enter scroll to A and set the time u want the radio to be inactive for till the alarm goes off, i have mine set to 10min as ive done the same thing and when it happened kept wondering what the faint beep was from (batts were so low the alarm was barely able to be heard when i got home from work).

I'm finally futzing with mine.

Issues that make it "more interesting":

1-New to me rig
2-Novak M2 dig
3-New radio......finally figured out the RX was not bound to the TX.....

I'm just looking over info to make sure I did things correct, but I can only assume ESC is working correctly (since it's used).

Yes, I used the template on page-1.
