Ok guys, 6 more radios going out tomorrow, trying to get another 3 built as well before the nights end.

Anyways, i finally got some prototypes in for the switches, and they work nice. However, getting them laser cut is impossible, most of them turn into molten blobs, the few that do turn out ok, are no where near the quality of a product i'd be willing to sell. So i'm looking into getting them machined, i haven't got my quotes yet, but i'm guessing 15-20 bucks for the two switches in the handle...they'd be machined aluminum though.

I'm also working on easy lipo harnesses, and looking into an expansion module...oh and i finally found a decent 1s lipo to my liking, so i'm continuing development on the 1s lipo mod.

Losikid,
I received my GT3B today and it`s awesome! Great work, feels like a $300 radio!
Navigated around the menus and the possibilities are mind boggling.
Amazing work, I found this link for a most detailed manual of the latest 6 CH Firmware and it rocks.
https://github.com/semerad/gt3b/blob...NUAL-0.4.1.txt
Got my work cut out for part of the weekend.
Again, superb work. Thanks for your efforts in making such a cool product available to all.
Regards,

Received my GT3B yesterday, and hooked it up to my truck. I like it! Now I'm wishing I got a 6ch. Now I want 4WS on my 2.2 rig. All the possibilities are overwhelming but, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it in time.

losikid, mahalo!

Did they ever incorporate the course timer into the hack software? I love my GT3B but I hate having to have an external timer.

I did the exact same thing (flashed it with no software) Then i got the 0.4.1 firmware, went to open in st visual and installed that and now its working great. A big thanks to losikid and other users on this forum for their input. Have learned quite a bit just by reading through the thread.

Page number 28, post number 544 has the firmware links

Hope this helps

I had mine working last night. The front steering would center and I could steer all the way left but only about one degree of steer to the right. and the rear steer was stuck to one side. Now I have the adjustments so far out of whack that it won't make the car move period. I hope its performance is worth all the hassle of trying to figure it out. At this point Im tempted to buy another radio

I'm pretty sure there's a model reset button in there somewhere. I haven't gotten mine yet, so I can't confirm this. Why don't you reset the model's memory, and go through setup again? Or set it up as a new model, and when you get it dialed in, delete the old one, and maybe write your settings down this time. It sounds like your trims were way off.

+1.

Before killing off the current model, I suggest setting the steering trim to "0", kill the power to the rig, remove the servo arm/horn, reattach "centered", then put power to the rig again.
If you still have steering throw issues, check the steering EPA's to see if one is dialed way down.

Just wanted to say that I recieved my radio, and man is this awesome.

Nice functions, cheap recievers (don't feel bad about running them near water either ), great feel, all around the best radio i've had. Far surpasses my dx3r IMO.

Thanks for all the work Austin!

Was just getting ready to order my radio and noticed all the aluminum steering wheels are out of stock. Should I hold off until you have more or is that something you will be waiting a while for? I don't really need it for another couple of weeks as my class 3 rig that this is for, is getting a chassis fabbed up by R2j currently.

Thanks

I have more, but i haven't had time to inventory, pictures, etc.

They will be sold separate from the radio from now on though...they should be in-stock sometime this week
