Losikid, I read and figured the only real con is the power button in the steering wheel and some were saying turning all the way to the right I believe it may cut in and out of power.

So personally you would go with the GT3C?

Yes, thats what i'm running and i'll never run a gt3b again...the gt3b is proven however, and abit cheaper so i can see why people would prefer it.

Is it the weight, ergonomics, speed of data send, what??
Does the newest firmware in the GT3B close the gap a bit between the "B" & "C"?

I can't really fault the GT3B, especially for the price.

Calvin (asw27x) could like the GT3C, it's go well well with his orange XR-10..... 2012 season rig "The Orange"

PS, are you going to support the GT3C in this thread, or start a new one?

weight, ergo, feels like a better radio. Build quality also seems higher

The speed is the same as the gt3b, the firmware is the same as the gt3b, switch layout is very similar to the gt3b, screen has the same layout (different color though).

So far gt3c has just stayed in this thread. It may change, but this thread is mostly firmware questions, so i think they can stay together

But, its a nice system. There is a micro 5 ch rx, it is smaller than a quarter, about 1/8" thick, super short antenna, costs $15. Down side is that is requires micro futaba servo connectors, and it doesn't have amazing range (fine for crawlers, but i do't recommend for anything that operates at a distance).

Or get a full size rx, which ranges 4-8 channels, high voltage versions, telemetry versions, fast speed mode (9ms vs 20ms)etc.

I still want to do quite abit of testing, but if your're interested speak up.
I was looking at another 4ch RX, likely stick to the full size.....not sure though. Do these work with both the "B" & "C", or just the "C"?

Im curious.Any pictures of the micro frysky RX next to a flysky? The only advantage for me might be the micro RX for my micro RC's. Much needed but possibly not worth the cost for just that.

Turnigy,Flysky, hobbyking, & Eurgle will work as well as the newer 2,4ghz 3ch from axial. there is another big name manufacturer that started using the cheaper hobby king TX & RX but i cant recall who.. RX's can be found on hobbyking, hobbypartz, ebay or just Google it
