| Re: GT3B Hack Question and Answer Thread No, after some tests on the o-scope it was discovered that the 4.1 averaged about 40ms latency...so it was optimized and got it down to like a 25ms average...and afew more tweaks were made between 4.2 and 6.1 to drop another ms or two

I haven't seen any tests on sock adios....but i'd assume slightly faster as i doubt the flysky engineers would have made a firmware that is extremely efficient in getting info to the module as soon as possible. Right now, the latency can't get any faster because the module is a 20ms module. With the new frsky 11ish ms is possible on the latency

For crawling, I really don't see latency as an issue. On a "go fast" I can a potential issue. I have yet to upgrade my firmware, so I can't comment yet.

Calibrate the radio, calibrate your esc's

I did change the "20" for proportional steps to "5" since it made more sense to me. When you calibrated the ESC's, were the EPA's set to 100% and the trims (and possibly subtrims) were set to "0"?? What version GT3B software are you running? I'm running an older one.

Got my GT3C finally, turned it on to make sure it worked. installed hack kit, soldering with off without a hitch. put it back together. Now it won't turn on. rechecked to make sure all the wires were tight. still nothing. do you think i fried the controller? I charged it too, still nothing. thinking i should have just tried my luck with getting one from losikid. Last edited by mudboggin3; 09-01-2012 at 12:06 PM. |
