Default castle sidewinder

I just got a new side winder sct esc, and in one of the books it came with it says not to use a motor with a larger than 3800kv and in another book says not to use with more than 6000kv motor. what do you guys know about this? i was going to use a 4600kv motor.

With 3S, do not go above 4600KV and proper gearing.

With 2S, do not go above 6000KV and proper gearing.

I run a 5700KV in a TC3 with 3S, but it's properly geared and doesn't get hot. Heat is the enemy.

yes, killed my 5700KV cause I didn't gear properly. Watch you heat.
