Default Wraith Question from a Newbie

Hi Guys

I guess that some guys in the US allready received their Wraith's. Ours are now shipped to Switzerland and I expect them to be her in about 2 weeks.

My kids and I still drive NiMH Sticks in our SCX, but I read that NiMH Sticks (7.2V) are tight fit in the Wraith. Is this true?
Also is the ESC Set for Lipo's. Also true?

I thought its about time to go from NiMh to Lipos. I am not so familiar with Lipos and hoped you could recommend me some. Which are you using in the Wraith. Which fit best in the Wraith. If possible I would like to run some Lipos with 3000mAh or more.

Are there Lipos which can be used in a Slash 4x4 and in the Wraith?

Thanks for your advise.

Greetings André

This is from the Axial web site

http://axialracing.com/ftp/wraith/index.html

Battery tray for Standard Stick Pack and LiPo Packs
Battery: 7.2v Stick Pack/2S LiPo Pack up to 47x150x28mm (W x L x D) in size. No disassembly or tools needed to remove and replace the battery.

I'm not sure if the lipo cut off is on out of the box or not.

Make sure you read up on lipo care before you get some. If you get a good lipo charger it's easy. Just make sure you don't leave them fully charged for more than a couple weeks.

The ESC in the Wraith is basicly a Castle Sidewinder, which I have one of those and you don't need to worry about the LiPo cut of. The ESC auto detects it if its a LiPo pack and turns that feature on.
