Default lipo

From what i went through :

Use lipo they are lighter and smaller.

No need to pack the most amps you can. i went from 3500mah to 1300mah.
It's better to have a couple of small and light batteries and switch, than having a big bulky one.

If your esc can handle it , get 3s rather than 2s batteries. The extra punch and wheelspeed is great.

What ESC are you using? If you are using the stock AE-2 ESC then I would recommend a 800-1300mah 2S lipo that can be mounted on the front axle or upper links.
