| Punk dig problem
I picked up a used dig here a while back and it's worked fine. Now I'm trying a new chassis, did a little cramming and it's not cycling properly. I've looked it over and the unit looks ok physically. Here's the problem: Can only access green light (no dig) by cycling up from the red light (rear dig). In other words, I can't cycle from blue light (front dig) down to the green light ( no dig)-it will skip green light and go straight to red. Then I can cycle back up to green or blue. Anybody know what the prob is? |

Check the board where the wires from the RX solder on, I cramed mine into a BJv4 chassis and it wasn't long before one of the wire broke loose from the board.

It sounds to me like the trim on the channel that runs the dig needs to be adjusted. I think that you should be able to move the trim control around and get the "No Dig" mode to work. Maybe just plug the Punk into your steering channel for a test. Moving the steering wheel should get you all three modes (you might have to move your EPAs all the way out). If not, like Jeff says, it might be broken. If you can't get it to work, I make a Dig Controller. Check out the link in my signature if you are interested. Al |
