Default New to lipos Dynamite 8000 3s 25c, charge at up to 8 amps?

Just bought a hitech quad charger and a dynamite 8000 3cell 25 c lipo, that has a 1c charge rate. From what i have pieced together i can charge it at up to 8 amps right? I just wanna make sure i got this right before i charge it.

Thanks

Your battery can handle being charged at 8 amps, yes.
Your charger won't do it. You have 4 separate 50 watt chargers. I'm not aware of any way to safely bridge them.

4.2 is a fully charged LiPo cell, times 3 is 12.6 volts.
12.6 volts times 8 amps is 100.8 watts.
You have 50 watts max. Kinda doubting you'll get even close to 8 amps.
50 watts, divided by 12.6 volts equals 3.968 amps of charger output at best.
8,000mAh (battery) divided by 3,968mAh (charger output)=2.0161 hours to charge, or (2.0161x60) 120.966 minutes to charge that battery.
I don't know about that charger, but most have a safety cutoff timer. You'll need to check your manual to see if you can adjust yours out to beyond 120 minutes.

I personally don't think you'll wreck your battery or your charger, but yeah, it may be that you'll need to pony up some coin for a stronger charger, 'cause babysitting a charging LiPo for two hours every time you wanna use it doesn't sound fun at all.

Edit: I suppose, now that I think about it, that's no worse than those of us limping along with twin LiPo's and only one charger. Guess I'd better get to looking for a charger, too.

Yeah i noticed on my charger that the highest setting that i can select is 6 amps, but i just wanted to make sure that it can handle it. According to what you said this charger would be best suited for batterys around 5000 mah since the amp rate for one of them would be around the amps that the charger can make?
