Any idea what the pack voltage is on the problem pack?
You may be telling the charger it's a 2S battery, and it may be too discharged and the charger is seeing the low voltage as below what it thinks a 2S should be. Could be a faulty wire or solder connection inside the battery. While you're measuring the pack's voltage, move the wires around to check for an occasional open circuit.

Those would be where you'd start looking. Let us know if you get some more details.

The problem pack is a 2s 1300MAH pack. It is showing 3.7 volts. It does not drop when the wires are wiggled.

Okay, one more prelim check I forgot to include was that maybe an individual cell is low. (Didn't think that charger balanced, saw on the second time around the balance plug was connected.)
Can you check the voltages of each cell, perhaps through the balance connector?

It looks like I have a bad cell in this batterypack. One side of the balance plug reads 3.7 volts and the other sides reads 0 volts. I sent an email to JohnRobHolmes since I have had these packs for about ten days. I have never even run the one that is bad.

I had this happen if the out put voltage is less then 10.5v it will do that.

Mine was not charging one of the cells in my lipo so we had to get a new charger.

Hope this helps

I thought about that. I am getting 12 volts to the charger though. I charged my other pack just fine before putting the problem pack on the charger.
