Question about wiring batteries in series?

If I wire 2 2s batteries in series to get 4s, lets say there both 1500mah batteries, will I retain the 1500mah or will I get 3000mah? If I get the 3000mah could I wire lets say 1 1800mah 2s, and 1 1500mah 2s in series?

I couldnt really figure that out. "thumbsup"

when wiring in series onl the voltages add together nothing else so it would be a 4s 1500mah. when wiring in parrallel is the only time the mah is added which then 2 2s 1500 would make a 3000mah 2s. and you want to wire the same batteries together, no mixing mah but technically you can do a 3s and a 2s of the same ratings in series not parrallel.
