Default Lipo Chargers

So i bought the Patriot RC HTX Charger from Hobbytown b/c they said it was the best one and it was the easiest to use!!!

These are the batteries i have:
2x GForce 25C 800mAh 3S 11.1V
2x GForce 30C 1000mAh 3S 11.1V
2x Venom 13C 1320Mah 3S 11.1V

What should i be charging these batteries at (Amperage)?

i have been charging at 2.0 Amp's but noticed on the sticker of the venom sticker it should be charged at 1.32 (seems random).

I just dont want any thing to explode!!!

You thoughts are greatly appreciated!!!

The 1.32 on the Venom is C rating; 1/1000 of rated capacity(mAh) I always charge my Lipo's at 1C. For your packs 1C=

0.8A on the 800
1.0A on the 1000 and
1.3A on the 1320

Some packs claim to be rated for a higher charge but it will shorten the lifespan of the pack.

EDIT: I think my description of 'C' may be a little off...searching now...

Ok, Here's a good read about Lipo's

Its not really random....look at the capacity of your venom pack....take away the zero and add a decimal point....1320=1.32

There is basically a formula they recommend for charging packs at.....not everyone follows it though.

Most racers charge at 5 amps or so, some way more.....

Higher amp rates will decrease the cycle life usually, but probably not enough to really notice.

Basically divide the mah of each battery by 1000 and thats what you should charge them at...which is referred to as a 1C charge rate. Some packs are rated for higher charging rates, but a 1C is easy on the packs and in my opinion will help them have a longer lifespan

Edit...I was a little late...
