I have both, two FXRs in my Bully and a Pro in my AX-10. I got the Pro because it was a replacement for a defective FXR. Can I tell the difference, no. The performance with crawler motors is identical. The advantage of the Pro is that it can handle low turn motors that the FXR can't.

The disadvantage is that the Pro cost $30 more.
