you can see the backlight on/off red pushbutton here:

backlight off/on comparison:

and a pretty accurate representation of the color of the red backlight combined with the greenish LCD:

and a better shot of the wheel:

el driver from here: http://www.smartieparts.com/shop/ind...roducts_id=333

red panel from there too: http://www.smartieparts.com/shop/ind...roducts_id=332

had to trim it and also trim some inside the plastic molding, google for doing EL panels with RC LCD's and you'll find all the info on peeling off the reflective backing WITHOUT messing up the other layer that's on there.

switch was a radioshack one i had laying around.

skin is from fre-q designs.

the wheel is from yeah racing and came with spektrum adapter i think: http://www.yeahracing.com/catalog/br...c-164_201.html

i did everything but the skin a few months ago and then my GF got me the skin for fathers day and i just put it on to complete the look!

yep smartie parts is a good company, i don't personally know the owner, but i am friends with him.

Here is the manual(s) for the kit i offered...you'll find most of it is freakishly similar to the smartie parts el and driver.

http://www.mediafire.com/?22mwet2rm5uji

also, although its not needed, it be ideal to have a regulated power supply going to the el driver, this is the only thing that was different from my el driver and smartie parts el driver. I think i may still have some volt regs that will work. If anyone wants one lmk.

He is located in canada, just an fyi, it typically takes 2-3 weeks for delivery...I plan on in the next month or two to be stocking his el drivers, as they will be used with the GT3B with the el kit im working for it.
