Hey guys,
I have a question about the hitec 645MG. I must have dropped off a big ledge or something and I thought the gears were stripped, which I've rarely ever seen happen on a metal gear servo, but it was making a grinding noise and wasnt very strong.
So I opened it up just to check and surprisingly there were no stripped gears. I plugged it in and tried to make it move and nothing happened when I put some pressure on the servo horn. It SEEMS like the pinion gear on the motor is loose. I can stop the pinion from turning by touching it.
*The problem is, I can't seem to get the motor out to check. Are there any tricks to doing this? I don't see any screws holding it in there. Any help is appreciated. |
