| chewed wire?
Is there any way to fix a chewed wire on an esc? Like could I solder the wire back together? The wire somehow got in the spur gear and got ripped.

aah yea the old spur gear nom nom nom. sure just strip it back, and re-solder it away from the other wires. happened to me years back in the old crunko. funny because it was the second set of wires that truck ate. the original builder mriswith had his esc wires chomped too. damn broncos. |

Solder it back together (hopefully with shrink tube on it) or, solder & wrap in electrical tape so you don't short out something. Last edited by Charlie-III; 07-10-2011 at 07:18 AM. Reason: fix typo |
