Default AE-1 esc question

Ok guys i've searched around and can't find anything on here. I've got a stock ae-1 esc and wasn't paying attention when I bought the batt. It is a 2200mah 3s lipo. I have a bec on my rig and was wondering if the esc would handle the batt? Thanks for the help
