question about tamiya teu302bk esc

hello guys, i just bought 2nd hand teu 302 bk esc, i download the manual and look all of the setting.. i try all and its all work, but something distrubing me is the reverse, i can only have 50% of power compare to forward,
the question is, is there any way to make it 100% both forward and reverse?
its normal like that or something wrong with my esc?
i found the specs on the web is like this
SPECS: Length: 1.3" (33.5mm)
Width: 1.1" (27.2mm)
Height: 0.6" (14.3mm)
Weight: 1.7oz (48g) with wires
Weight 1.5oz (43g) body only
Control System: High frequency wave drive
Max Continuous Current: (FET spec) Forward 120A, Reverse 60A
Power Supply: 7.2V - 8.4V (6-7 cells)
Compatible Motor: R/C car motor over 23 turns
Driving Frequency: 500Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz (with three steps)
Receiver Output Voltage: 6V (input 7.2V)
Receiver Output Current: 1A
im kindda noob and its written Max Continuous Current: (FET spec) Forward 120A, Reverse 60A
its that mean reverse is 50% of forward, and fixed?
thx before

regards,
philips
