Question Servo wires to other side of case ?

Hitec 7955TG running BTA....

Is it possible to rotate just the rear side of the case? Moving the wires to the other side. I dont want my tire to rip off the wires, and i cant turn the whole servo or the horn will be in my 4 link.

I did try removing the rear half of the case, but the circut board wouldnt budge.

I thought i seen a thread on it awhile back, but a seach didnt reveal anything.

Any help would be appreciated

OK, so I took my 7955 apart so I could answer you question and now I have a trashed 7955......................

Just joking it was already trash and to answer your question No!!!

The main motor is directly mounted and soldered to the main board and the heatsink case is molded to the main motor so once you flip the heat sink with the cutout for the servo to the other side it the motor no longer fits the heat sink. The motor also sits up hard against the case so getting the wires past the motor would be impossible.

The only option I see is to cut a hole in the bottom of the case and run the wires with the grommit through the bottom of the case, the is a plausable option. Or cut a new groove in the heatsink for the wires to come out the top or bottom (sides) of the heat sink. This wouldnt need much modding to the wires.

There's another way and that would be to flip the whole servo so the wires exit away from the wheel but then you need to modify the linkage.

The OP states (in the 1st post) that flipping the servo (the easy solution) would have the case hitting his 4 link.
