Default GT3B recalibration?

Hi,
Do I need to recalibrate GT3b with esc (cc sidewinder micro) after I flash GT3B to a latest firmware?
Thanx!

I believe so, if you are having throttle issues, recalibrate the ESC to the RX.
The same goes for flashing new firmware to the ESC.

Have you gone through the radio calibration already? After the flash you need to recalibrate the radio for best results. After that then recalibrate the esc. Warning though if you are running more than 1 model off the radio with different recievers all the other vehicles need it also.

You mean re-bind the radio and rx first then recalibrate the esc?
thanx!

Not rebinding but recalibrating. Both the radio and esc can be calibrated. Calibrate the radio then calibrate the esc. I have a lot of things bound to mine and after I recalibrated the radio I had to recalibrate all the escs in my vehicles. If you are dealing with just one model nothing to worry about then

What is the radio calibrating procedure? there is only matching(binding) procedure in the CD's manual?
Thanx!

Thank you losikid.
How to measure the battery voltage? turn the volt meter to 20(2,20,200,1000), then place the red needle to + of the first battery and black needle to - of the last battery?
Thanx!

I think I just finished the recalibration with losikid's procedure, is there a way to confirm it's done?
Do I need to re-bind the rx?
Thanx!

I believe you do need to rebind every RX you have for that TX.
Then you should recalibrate the ESC's to each RX.
If you only have 1 RX and 1 rig, it's easy.
If you run more than 1 rig on the TX, make sure you have the correct model pulled up when you recalibrate the ESC's.

As long as your pressed and held enter to exit out your calibration should be saved...best way to check is to make sure your battery voltage on the radio is the same as what your volt meter reads.

yep that sounds bout right...thats the raw data the A/D encoders are reading. Then its converted to ppm, and eventually converted into pwm at the rx. But what calibration does is it sets those points to left. center, right positions on the pwm signal comin gout of your rx (1 ms, 1.5ms, and 2ms)
