| Reverse Zeta esc
Well I just got my esc from ebay. I thought it was a turbo version but the description was vague and the pic was fuzzy. It turns out to be a very rare Reverse Zeta PDI speed controller! I can't find anything on google. But get this-it comes with the original manual and sales brochure from 1985! It gives all the specs and stuff too. I was gonna plan I trying it in my crawler but I just can't. To cut it up to put a castle bec on it and wire it for my setup I would have to have no soul. But it is super cool. All aluminum and waterproof. Anyone else have one of these?

The Zeta ESCs were very popular with the R/C truck pullers back in the day. I think I still have an old turbo and a reversing 1 like you got. They were high tech back in the day. The first programable ESC on the market. They use a little programmer that is a bank of micro switches to set them up. They also have a small battery inside to hold the setup memory. (very likely this is dead by now) To use the reverse feature I believe requires 2 battery packs, 1 for forward, 1 for reverse. |
