Default Try this......

Nobody can tell you what you are asking. There are WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY too many variables. Here are a few ideas though.

1. Search for the KV rating of a HH 7T Puller. I can't remember (and I won't find it for you....)

2. Try this link. The site has a bunch of very cool tools for setting up your rcs.

http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/top_speed.html

3. If you are somewhere in the APO AE, that means parts will take about 1 to 2 weeks to get to you. (Ask me how I know....) Buy a few pinions and try em. They're cheap.

And in the immortal words of JRH......volt up, gear down.

Good luck!

One thing I can say about the 7t puller, watch your temps on the motor and ESC when running 3s, they may get pretty hot and could end up doing some damage. As for the pinion, I've kinda got the same idea, pick up a few and test them out. Hopefully you can find that sweet gearing you're looking for.

10 lbs scaler. I'm running a 56t spur and 9t pinnion. For a crawler it should be about right. For a scaler, it is just a little slow.

I'm on 3 cell with a brxl.

I've got an SCX10 scaler about 8-9 lbs and running a 7t Puller with stock spur and 20t pinion. After about 20-30 min (one pack) the motor is hot and after another 20-30 min the motor is too hot. That's on 2s and if I'm running 3s it takes about 5 min until the motor gets to hot.
I really like the speed I get on 2s but I wouldn't mind a little faster and cooler. 3s is just crazy speed for a scaler with that motor and gearing.
