Default simple question!

In the specs of a esc like this one "SPECS: Input Voltage: 4-9 Cells/2-3S Lipo," the 4-9 cells means nicd and nimh compatible right?

Yes nicd and nmih are generally referred to as cells, while lipos are generally referred to as 1s, 2s etc based on the number of "cells"
