Default transmitter pack run times?

I just picked up a 4pks and noticed a fairly short runtime on the stock nimh pack.

I have a protek rc LiFe pack, but i have no way to charge it.

i'm curious what radio you run, what packs you run, and what kind of run times do you see?

thanks in advance!!!

I am using a flysky GT3B. I run a 3s 1000mah 25c lipo in mine and love the run time. I average about a week between charges. That is using it between 1-2 hour every day. On a comp day I run the same battery as my truck uses Gen Ace 450 mah and it is more than enough for a couple days worth of crawling and brings the weight of the radio down significantly

If your 4PKS is brand new then cycle the battery a few times before using, it will come to life.

I thought the same thing of my 4PKS, first charge only lasted about an hour so I thought I better get a Life pack for it. By the time the life pack arrived I had about 4 cycles through the pack and now days and nearly a year down the track I get 8 - 12 hours out of the nimh pack. I keep the life pack as backup pack just in case.
