Default Will this work???

Just wondering if the traxxas VXL-3M ELEC SPD CONTROL will work in a scx 10 dingo. Without major modification of the electronics or connections. The rest of the truck is completely stock.

Thanks alot

Only problem I can see is the delay (double-tap) between forward and reverse. Found out when crawling I needed to jump straight to reverse if the rig started going over backwards. You could reverse your throttle direction (on your remote), then swap motor leads, that'd get the delay where you'd need it for crawling.

If you use your rig for trail running, and don't need to be able to quick-stab reverse, then you'd be fine. Throw it in and ignore the above. My VXL has always done me right, but then again, I've always run NiMh's in it, thus never had any of the issues of hitting the LVC early.

If you use the VXL motor, then there should be no wiring snafu's to speak of. If you plan on running the truck's stock motor, then you'd just need to change out the bullet connectors. Rebind the radio (just in case), recalibrate the ESC, and you should be off and running.

There is a Mamba Max, Mamba Max Pro, Mamba Max Pro Micro.....the Mamba Max is the oldest & cheapest.
That is what I'm using.
I run the same firmware (1.24?) and throttle/brake curves in both. Shallow on the neutral area, getting steeper from there.
Each to their own.
