Default hobbyking 6 ch mod

ive had a DIG system set up on ax10 for sometime but never had it set up properly, a basically had to dial the position in manually every time i wanted to use it, a real pita to be honest!

what im thinking to do is take the right hand dial out and put a 3 position switch in place.
would this be as simple as that ?

is the radio a ct6b that needs a computer to change most the settings? if so i have one that i put a 3pos switch in. to do it i left the dial/potentiometer inside the radio and soldered the 3pos switch to the 3 wires going to the dial, just need to be sure the dial is centered and it worked great till i went to a hacked gt3b

Yep, just take the wires from an unsued pot and hookem up to a switch setup like this, keep the center wire in the center and the outer wires to the outside

Also if you have a CT6B i highly recommend this software
