how do i program the dx3e with dna dig on ax10

So im trying to find out, how do I program the dx3e and the dna dig so I have the full 4x4 and locked rear as well as free spinning rear?...

Is this possible I have been told both no and yes, I know where the neutral is on the dig that allows the free spin of the rear and have had it set both ways.. locked and free but hoping to use the 3 possition aux and be able to control it.. I don't know the controller very well and bought it used as well as the dna dig..
