Great motors in their time, but I don't believe they are still made or supported.

Collectors item. Keep it, store it... you can always say, "hey I have a Astro Flight Motor!"

I have used many of those motors,I bet I have half a dozen of them still. My c2 rig currently has one in it. Love them, they are amp hungry little torquemonsters, slightly more effeicent than holmes puller. Brushes can still be found ,but they are elusive.Low end res is great, wheel speed is great and you can gear them fairly high but they will get warm on you.

Have fun with it and carry plenty of spare parts for what ever rig you put it in. Also, make sure your battery is up to the task....they have the ability to pull alot of amps.

I have a ton of them as well. Keep it, run it, love it! But keep it out of water, no use in ruining it.

The low end efficiency is better than my Puller motors, but the high speed efficiency is actually a bit lower because of the skew on the arms. They also have a slightly shorter lamination stack, which gives them better no load efficiency as compared to a longer motor. What you have will be just a touch faster than a 10t Cobalt Puller.

Re: need info Astro Flight Pullmaster motor

I know this is an old post but I have to comment
cause I'm running both a Holmes Crawlmaster
and Astroflight Pullmaster motors.
First I have 6 pullmaster 1's, two Pullmaster 3's and two Pullmaster 4's. All of them in new or barley used.
On my Scx10 , I run a Rc4wd 2-speed trans, Level3-RC dual motor mount (modified to fit) and dual Holmes 22 turn Crawlmaster Pro motors. BR-XL waterproof esc.
My Son's truck runs a stock but medal Ax10 trans
and a one Pullmaster 10turn motor also on 3s.
We both run the same gear size coming off the motors. Both trucks have ridiculous low-speed take off and torque. And again I say "Ridiculous"
I'm surprised neither of us hasn't broke anything from the power. We're just about the same in top speed, even with my 2-speed.
The big difference is that the Astroflight motor gets really bad gas (battery) mileage. I get about twice the run time as my son's truck, even with dual Crawlmasters.
