Default servo controller for 3racing wench

ok so i seen a guy that had a servo hooked up to a 3racing wench and that was it. no y harness nothing just the servo inline,so my question is how can this be done? i have a 3racing wench and the controller for it, the wires are not even connected to the board any longer and i really would love to not use a y harness and a controller.

I see this like so. Pull the servo apart and connect the winch motor + to servo motor + and - to - . Meaning that the winch motor replaces the servo motor.

Try it, should work.

Like tarmo120 says, do all that, and adjust the pot to the center in order to stop the winch from creeping.

If you want to consider another alternative, I make these:
Winch Controller for Radio with Three Position Channel

Winch Controller for Radio with 2 Position Third Channel

Higher Voltage Winch Controller

It sounds like you want to end up doing something like this:

Those wires (grey ones) would solder on where the winch plug is.

I love this little controller looks awesome however budget will not allow me to purchase anything at this time :( so I hope the spare servo I have still works lol.
