| traxxas velineon rear plastic cover piece question
Hi, I recently rebuilt my velineon motor and sadly i misplaced the rear plastic cover. Is this really important for its "waterproofness". Is there any place where I can purchase the piece itself? thanks for the help.

I don't know if it's needed, but I would look at Traxxas online, or a good Internet hobby place and look up the part.

I left mine off for the room and just stuck a piece of tape over the hole.

no matter what some water will get into the motor but as long as you keep the bearingas oiled it will be fine, sensorless brushless motors are fine in water its just the sensored ones that dont like water because it can mess up the sensors. just the esc is what i would worry about with water
