serious lighting for R/C love the look of lights on R/C vehicles...hate the fact that they're unusable...way too dim. The Wraith has gotten a bit of a bump in output...about 10X. Not only is night crawling now possible, so is rock racing. It's a LOT more fun when you can actually see. http://yycadm.zenfolio.com/p864017123/he6743#he6743 http://yycadm.zenfolio.com/p864017123/hbd4c56b#hbd4c56b Lux-rc builds them as a self contained, headlight shaped unit with the lamp, emitter and controller integrated in an aluminium housing. Wide span of acceptable voltage, and you can run them off the reciever power or an independant battery. |
Looks like a qbeam. lol |
What's a qbeam? |
Sorry I didn't notice your location. Q-beam is basically a brand of spotlight. |
Gotcha. I guess that's an accurate comparison...this thing really lights things up |
I really think you need a vendors star to promote and sell your products here and the other forums you have flooded with your product information. You might wanna PM a mod and ask them the specifics and help support the forum."thumbsup" |
No, no...I'm not a vendor, and certainly not selling anything. Just a satisfied end user. I posted this only becuase I thought someone else may be interested in checking them out. Sorry if I offended anyone |

Definitely nice and bright. My Wraith will be getting a lighting upgrade soon as well. A little different style though. |
If you look at their website, they also have just the light engines available separately. you could use the size engine you want and design a housing to fit it in. I may try that route eventually too. The manufactured version looks OK on the Wraith, but it'd look too big on a lot of scalers. Doesn't look like anything small enough right now to fit into a 1/10 scale light bucket, but who knows? they seem willing to do custom runs too. Very solidly built though. I also just got an email from their mailing list that they're releasing a small, single cell every day carry flashlight with 1400 lumen output. If it's true, it's going to be an amazing light |
