Default Electronic problem please help

I just built a Tamaya F350 and it has the factory motor, and I installed a couple of axial servos that I had laying around, one for steering and one for shifting and I installed an AE-1 just to get it running and adjust the shift servo. I am running a Spetrum 6 channel RX and a DX8 TX. When I turn everything on it seems to be fine, but when I try to shift the transmission it goes crazy and keeps shifting back and forth and the steering and the ESC won't work. If I unplug the shift servo the esc and steering works fine. What could be the problem?

my guess from what you describe is a bad servo. I had a hitec that went bad on my losi, and it did exactly what yours is doing. Unplugged it and everything else worked. Sent the servo to hitec, and there was a bad motherboard.
