Default Reattaching radio antenna

My son grabbed my antenna off my DX3E yesterday and the whole thing came out. So I took it apart and found where the wire needs to be attached back at. It looks like it gets crimped back on but its so small and hard to get too. Can I just solder it on? What should I do? Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Should just plug back on...if he ruined the crimped end or the socket on the board. Then your radio is toast...will need to be sent to horizon
