|  traxxas 2240 remote and reciever
I've got a traxxas 4 channel remote and I was wondering if I can use the 3rd channel red switch for a servo on the summit 2 speed trans? I'm sure I can cause I think that's how its setup from the factory but I was just wanting to make sure..

In the Summit manual it shows that servo (gear selector) on the channell three spot on the reciever and the red button on the handle as the switch for it.

Yes, that is exactly how it is used in a Summit.
