What 35t exactly? Holmes has many from $28-80.
notice the weight changes a lot, must be typo, but looking for a lighter weight motor with good slow control and hold.

Or just a Teken HD 35t??

what do you guys say

I'm using a tekin 35 turn on 3s. Good wheel speed, don't really have anything to complain about it

Thank you for that detail.

trying to narrow down which 35t, how to decide budget minded. It's for my scale copy of my 1:1 so I wont be driving it it a lot and bashing on it. Maybe just go a simple Tekin HD or a HH $30 motor . ??

I run a Brood Apocalypse HHK R/T 35T sometimes on 3S other times 4S.
with an SCX trans, stock spur and 14T pinion it has plenty of torque and just enough wheel speed to bump over the tough stuff. with a summit trans 62T spur and 16T pinion its just AWESOME gobs of torque in 1st gear and more than enough speed for mud and makes a great basher.

I'm partial to my HH torquemaster 35t handwound with a r2 w/ 21tooth pinion on 3s. Perfect combo of wheelspeed and torque for a trail run.

A buddy has the Tekin 35t and it's nice. I just put a HH ($30 model)35t in my KOH Jeep. It's nice too. I've also run Integy Lathe motors but they seem to wear out a little faster than I'd like.

I would deffinatly go with a handwound motor....its hard to realize the difference it makes until you have driven one.

There are a few places to go for a good handwound

there are only 2 who support this site, and as such would recomend one of them, your customer service will be much better if you do.

Homes hobbies and brood

I have ran brood and holmes motors and both are top performers and will undoubtably quence your thirst for power.

I agree handwound is better, I have them in my berg. I am not sure I would need or notice the differance in a 1.9 scaler though. What do you think?
Plus it's my scale copy of my 1:1 so lots of detail and not going to drive much or bash on it. I am going to build another buggy that I can really bash and enjoy with great performance.
