It's a discontinued model, but a good one. Titanium gears, so they're nice and strong. I am always iffy buying used servos though unless I can verify they still work well and don't need gear or motor replacements.

Agreed.

For $35 more you can get the same servo new, Hobbico CS-170.

Hobbico is Tower Hobbies and they have a two year warranty.

i will check the servo, any way it's kind of friend of me so he's ok

I use them in my scalers- 2.2 and 1.9. They are far from new too pulled from my 1/8 scale nitro race stuff 5 years ago. They were throttle servos on a buggy and truggy and I just cleaned, lubed, and sealed them up. They get dunked in the river regularly too and have been holding up perfectly in the scale rigs for a while now

The 5955TG is the predecessor (sp) to the 7955TG, my son & I run a couple of the 7955's. We are happy with them.

Since it's "local", I say buy it. Bring your rig & radio so you can try it out before you pay (if you go to pick it up).

I didn't look to see if you had a location.

Go and check it out before buying it and Mazel.

Don't know if you got it, but I just picked one up and they are noisy. I read thats due to it being a digital servo.

Most digital servos are noisey at neutral since they are hunting. This is normal.

Usually the buzzing noise gets worse when there's some binding somewhere in the linkage. Check to see if it free. Regardless the Hitecs are a noisy bunch of servos in general.
