Sounds like you need an external BEC to me. I had the same problems, installed my BEC and that went away. I along with about everybody else uses the castle creations BEC.

a bec is always a good thing to have and will fix alot of problems, but then why did the servo fry? my bet is there is some binding in the steering or the epas were set to high

Hmmm....lunchtime.....

As to frying the servo, I vote the EPA's are not set up correctly and you are overdriving the servo (which can also pull the voltage down & create RX issues).

I had the same problem with that esc, even with a bec it was a pain to try and comp with it. Having it steer straight out of no where while going for a gate got old really quick.

Were you wired through the RX or direct to the servo??

I say leave the RX out of it, go direct.

BTW, correct punctuation is free on most sites......

I just tried to read what i wrote and got no where lol. But anyways i wired it directly, for what ever reason it wouldnt work though the rx. After burning up 3 becs in a week i swapped for a sidewinder and havent had an issue. The rooster just got buggy after a while couldnt tell you why.
