Default Anyone run a MMP with Scorpion Outrunner?

Hey everyone, Ive got a brand new MMP and Scorpion 28mm 1630kv outrunner. I planned on running on 6s in my TTC but cant get the motor to run right.
Castle techs said MMP not designed for an outrunner and is prob over amping the esc. Does this sound right? I cant believe the MMP can handle a 550 shortcourse motor on 4s but wont run a peepee little 28mm outrunner?!?
ESC still has stock parameters, but I have the Castlelink, any suggestions on esc settings?
This combo will be going in a Losi based TTC with worm axles. FDR around 80:1
Hoping for great lowspeed controll and good wheelspeed with this combo on 6s.
Any suggestins on a different motor for 6s if this Scorpion wont work?
Thanks everyone!

If no one runs the same combo, can someone recommend a good motor for 6s? I've already invested in the Mamba Max Pro and batteries and would like to continue my quest of "volt up / gear down"... 550 size motor will not fit my chassis

Hi mate. Not sure why castle said you cant run one on a MMP. I have a mate that is running a 2500kv scorpion on 3s using a sidewinder without any issues.

The MMP is rated higher than a sidewinder so i cant personally see it being an issue. Just make sure you set the MMP to sensorless mode and go for it.

I put esc on the castlelink and found it already in the smart sense mode. Did'nt see anything specific for sensorless. Its really weird... motor runs on 3s, 4s, and 5s but has barely enough power to climb over a 2X4. On 6s the motor wont even start. Just whines
