| Lipo battery cycles - do you keep track?
This is my first year with Lipo and so far I've kept track of how many times my batteries have hit cutoff and then been charged, and even if they were repeaked without hitting a cutoff. Am I being a little too anal? I'd just like to know how much they've been used to better determine when the end of thier life might approach, or are there other ways to tell like lesser capacity or power loss?? If they last several hundred cycles each, that's a lot of hash marks in my notebook. |

I don't, but it's a good idea. I do write the "buy date" on each pack as well as number them so I cycle through all of them instead of constantly using the same one. |

I used to keep track with my airplane batteries when they cost Mega bucks but now with HK selling 4S batteries for what I used to pay in shipping I no longer write the usage down. Buy-Use-Charge- Repeat |
