| Servo issue HS-7954
I just put a new rig together and am using this servo HiTec 7954SH with a brand new CC BEC (set at 7 volts). I have the BEC wired up direct from the battery connection and the positive & negative wires from the BEC going straight to the servo. I am only using the signal wire in the RX. The issue that I am having is that the servo will turn the wheels all the way to the left and then back for no reason (also when I turn the ESC off & the battery is still plugged the servo will turn left & right a few times and then center itself) - I just did some more testing of it and it seems that the wheels will turn full left almost every time I go from forward to reverse and not just if I am turning right, & try and climb something - I have tried wit ha 2s & 3s lipo with the same results. I am not able to run the servo without the BEC for more than 10 seconds on my setup as the ESC (Tekin RS) does not have the power with it's standard BEC for this servo so I am not able to see if it would happen without the CC BEC (it hasn't happened in the short time that I could run it this way - without the CC BEC that is). The last time I used this servo was in my old 4x4 SC truck and I had no issues with it. Right now I have no spare servo's here that I can throw in and confirm if it is the servo or the BEC connection. Last edited by RNUOVR; 09-30-2011 at 02:08 PM. |

Try running the BEC black wire to the RX, you seem to be getting a glitch. Then, you would just have the BEC red wire to the servo.

Most of it seems to be dependent on the radio you're using. | |
