| question: wireless winch/dig
Rc4wd has a wireless winch system which uses a remote system like a car alarm (gonna get one soon for my scaler). Like my mind that's always on the move, couldn't I get that wireless control unit and hook a servo into it instead of the winch and use the wireless remote to control my dig instead of buying a 4 channel remote?

Probably could. Most of those I.R. remotes are a simple "on-off" switch, in the case of the winch, a three position switch. You'd have to figure out power issues, where to mount the receiver on the truck so that you have line-of-sight, etc. |

Use alittle lipo pack. I don't think you can do to I believe the 9300xt winch uses a different plug style. The web site says that winch is the only one that can be used with that system. It wouldn't be the easiest thing but maybe help someone out that doesn't have $200+ for a 3-4ch remote. I decided I'm gonna get the 4pl but that winch and dig was just an idea that popped into my head.

Gt3b with a new firmware will handle that just fine, can be had like for at 60ish. Not all capable radios are 200 plus

As for the wireless controller, i've heard (not from experience) they're a pain in the arse to use and doesn't work very well.

With that gt3b, is there multiple switches or toggles? If I wanted to use 6 channels for 6 different things, how would I go about switching through the 3 positions?
