Default Motor wiring?

I got a couple used novak terra claw 55t motors for free for my xr10 build. Looks as if there are 3 resistors soldered on the terminals. And to housing. one goes from + to - it has been cut on one motor and broken on the other. Then one from + to housing, and another from housing to - . Is this normal? Do I need to replace them? Do I take them off? Thanks. heres a pic. also using novak m2 dig esc.

Those are actually capaciters or "caps". They help kill the electrical noise from the arcs from the brushes. They were absolutely needed for AM & FM radios, not needed as much for 2.4ghz radios, but they don't hurt anything.

yeah I'd just assume remove them when you desolder those wires off, especially if you're going to use a 2.4ghz system (because realistically, who doesn't nowadays )
