Default Should I add a BEC to a wraith on 2s?

Got a new HT servo, wondering if a BEC would help give it more power. I'm running 2s. What should I use?

When in doubt, bec it out lol

Either that or I think you could possibly wire your lipo directly to the servo, since it's only 2s

I'd use a bec. Isnt a fully charged 2s like 8.4 volts and I'm not sure but I don't know any servos that can handle that. Even my high voltage is only 7.4 or 7.2 can't remember. I'd use a bec

2s lipo is actually only 7.4v and most servos(I think) run that voltage so actually the OP would need to find out the max volts the servo uses, if it were a 6v then I'd say use a bec just to play it safe because it can do 7.4v(others do it) but it can burn them out. But if you find out if the servo can handle 7.4 then just wire it directly

Isn't the Max voltage for a single cell 4.2v so a 2s would be 8.4v. That's what my charger chargers my 2s to. Google it. I would still play it safe with a bec no matter what. They are cheaper then blown servos.

This really depends on the servo he is running. Some servo specs allow 2s lipo voltage some are limited to 6 volts. I do not know the specs of the Axial servo so can'r speculate on that part.
