Losing drag over how much time?? If over a bunch of time, maybe your motor brushes are getting short which causes loss of drag.

Its a RC4wd 45t. I will check the brushes. If they are worn this can cause it? It seems it lasts only 20 min if that.

Brushes don't wear that fast, but it worked fine for a number of packs and now has an issue, it's a cheap look & fix.

Brushes are shot.... Guess I need a new motor. Thinking of a new handwound this time. For a honcho.
Thanks! I thought it was the rooster

Brushes are a couple dollars, some LHS's carry them, otherwise I believe Tower Hobbies does as do a couple of vendors on this forum.

I have brushes and a comm lathe, I do my own rebuilds. Then again, I have quite a few motors to deal with between myself & my son.....Buying new would get real expensive.

Its a RC3wd Silver can...he can't replace the brushes.

Mate, you wont believe the difference between the silver can and a good hand-wound....It's night and day.

Well I have heard great things about the Tekin FXR so I picked 2 of them up today and a hotwire. I have wanted to go to a 3S battery for a lil more kick when needed!!
