| 4PL and M2???
Currently building my xr10. i have a 4PL on the way and have a Novak M2 ESC installed. I know i have to program the Tx but do i need to do anything with the ESC? Or do i just leave the M2 alone out of the box? Also what channels on the Rx do i need to plug the ESC wires into? i thought CH2 & 3. but ive read 2 & 4. thanks, cant wait to get this thing going.

I would do a search in Harleys "4PL" thread, likely your answer is there.

ive looked through that thread. great thread, lots of info. but not much on the M2. kinda sounds like the esc does the mixing not to radio. there are 3 profiles on the esc. #1 dig #2 Proportional dig #3 single ouput mode if i set it to #1 can i adjust the 4pl to do proportional? if i set it to #2 how do i program a DT switch on the Tx to do proper mixing? is it the same as Harleys 4pl tips thread? thanks again, really excited to get it running as soon as i get my radio. |

I used the 4PL and M2 combo before i went dual ESC. You will need to change the settings on the ESC before you use it such as drag brake etc. You set it to mode #2 Proportional Dig. That way you have 4WD, Dig on front and rear, as well as proportional drive on the front and rear. I am not sure what channels you plug it into. I am pretty sure it is 2 and 3 though. If not, then definitely 2 and 4. |
