Default FXR mod question

I have seen this done on here. Who has removed the solder posts and put bullet plugs in place. Is doing this mod dangerous for the ESC as far as heat? Would make rewiring and cleaning very easy.

I'm hoping someone has done it and that would be an awesome mod for sure. I have 2 FXR's and hate their posts.

I gotta find my pics but I removed the solder pins and hard wired the 2 FXr's front to back. It made a nice tight little package.

Ive seen deans plugs solder up on this esc. Really clean set up.

Bullet plug vs deans... Difference? Just curious to which one is commonly used

The bullet plug would be a smaller cleaner look. Of course deans would be at the other end.

I don't want to hard wire it in that would defy the goal I am trying to reach. An easily rewirable ESC that can be moved in one truck or truck to truck without hassle. Not to mention way cleaner looking. I'll do this to my XR later, trying to minimize the electrical mass on my mini now.
