| LRP BL Crawler ESC issuesÉ
Hello All, I am running a Redline 10.5T brushless motor with my LRP BL crawler esc and seem to have no issues. The problem I do find is that it is glitchy. What i mean is that if I am steering from left to right from a stand still the motor seems to jerk forward without giving it any throtle. I recalibrated the ESC`s neutral/forward and reverse but it still wants to jerk forward when I steer. The sensor cable is attached correctly and is brand new so I am thinking that's not the issue. Any hints or clues as to what may cause this and a remedy? Thanks for the help, J-Rod |

1-What radio? (brand/model/AM-FM-or 2.4GHZ) 2-Is the RX close to the motor/motors or ESC? 3-What steering servo, if it's a high torque, are you running an external BEC to it?? 4-What "C" rating is your battery as well as the capacity (mah)? So you know, AM or FM radios can be affected by the ESC "electrical noise", high torque steering servos can "brownout" the RX leading to goofy stuff happening, low "C"/mah ratings can reduce the voltage available when loaded up leading to brownouts and goofy stuff. |

Hi Charlie, I am useing a Spektrum DX3R Pro and a Hitec 7955TG servo. The RX is in the front electronics box of my wraith while the receiver is in the back where the battery used to go. I haven't used the CC BEC I have yet for it has an on board bec. I run 25c 5200mah 2s lipos. Hope that helps shed some light. |

You need to hook the CC BEC up.

Sounds like the basic set-up is good (RX away from the ESC, although you say RX & receiver which is the same thing.....) and you have an OK battery (lower "C" but high mah). The 7955 is not real power hungry but I've seen that Spektrums can be touchy with voltage & electrical noise. The BEC may help you out. |
