Shop for RC Hobby Parts and Upgrades - Digital Servos, Brushless Motors, ESC, LiPo Batteries/Chargers for RC Helicopters, RC Planes, RC Cars, Robots

I have owned almost every brand available and hobbypartz packs can hang with them all for a fraction of the price. The gens ace packs are especially good. I have also been using lipo for 6 years.

Just out of curiosity, why NiMh? Lipo is smaller, lighter, more energy dense, and very safe and stable if not misused or abused

After switching to Lipo packs several years ago, I can't imagine ever switching back to NiMh.

I'll put my vote in for gens ace lipo packs from Shop for RC Hobby Parts and Upgrades - Digital Servos, Brushless Motors, ESC, LiPo Batteries/Chargers for RC Helicopters, RC Planes, RC Cars, Robots

Cheapbatterypacks.com is a good source too if you need them few extra amps or want the higher quality elite packs

+1, I used to get NiCads from there, more recently I've bought NiMH (for my carpet 12th & 10th cars) and 2S & 3S LiPO's.

While you can get a cheaper pack from other places, I've never had an issue from CBP.

I haven't seen valuehobby.com mentioned.
Are these crappy batteries? I have the gforce 800mah 25C 3S lipo and they are $7.90 a pop. I have enough to run 4 course and still free run for about an hour.
