Default truck shuts down?

I have a ae-2 esc, castle bec, ae-3 rx and tx on 3s with a 45t integy v12. The problem I'm having is the truck will be running and then no more throttle. The esc is beeping like it no longer has radio signal. I shut it all down and unplug the battery and about 75% of the time ill turn it all back on and it works but, the other 25% I have to keep messing with it. Does anyone else have this problem or a suggestion on what's goin on?

Does it happen with different batteries?
Does it happen after running a while (heat in the ESC, failing battery packs)?
What ESC lights do you see when this happens?
Does the steering die as well?
Does it only do it in a bind?
Is either the ESC or motor hot when it happens?

Does any of it match the bottom of this document.... Castle Creations | FAQ: 1/10th Scale Products ??

It does it with all 3 of my packs. it loses steering too. I'm thinking it has something to do with my rx. The esc never gets warm. It doesn't do it in a bind. It happens more like if its kinda bumpy but that's not the only time it happens. The motor never gets over 120 degrees off my temp gun.

Yep, sounds like a RX issue. Double check all the connections (power, servo's, antenna, etc). It may even be inside the RX case.

Well atleast its a cheap fix. I have another tx and rx I'm going to try when I get off work and see if that does the trick. Its not an esc problem, not a motor problem, not a battery problem and not a bec problem so it looks to be the rx is the only thing left.
Thanks for your help.

Axial uses flysky products right?

No problem on the help, there is nothing wrong with a sanity check.

Let us know what happens when you run the other radio. Don't forget to calibrate the ESC to the radio.

Lol well I got another question. I've never set a ae-2 esc to a radio before. Do you got any tips on that or do I need to get on good ol google?

Google up the ESC manual. They are all similar, but not identical.

How is the BEC hooked up? Is the BEC and ESC both powering the rx?

No the red wire is cut on the esc, its just the bec that is powering the rx. I was thinking it could be the bec took a dump but, the green light is still on then the rx shuts down. I guess it could be a bad wire from the bec to the rx??

Could be a bad wire between the ESC and rx, I've got a KO rx that just decides not to power up every now and then. I'd finish a course and then when I powered up for the next one ten minutes later nothing.
